We have several tsaklis and sets of tsaklis to present on Trocadero. We will start with some of the less expensive tsakli. Search our site on the keyword "tsakli" to find our other offerings and more as we add more.

They are very difficult items to date. We have put some in the Antique category and some in the Vintage Arts category.

It is hard to say for certain but in our experience tsakli on cloth are likely to have originated in Bhutan. These are painted on very sized and stiffened fine cotton. The backs are quite darkened though there is an inscription on each. Even though they clearly were done as a set, there are slight variations in each individual card, probably indicating that they were done by different people.
