This is a set of eleven natural carnelian beads from Nagaland. It is anyone's guess how old they are since they have probably been used many times over before finally being assembled here. Each bead is at least two inches long and the overall length of the beads is 23 inches. They come to life with light pouring through them. We have photographs of them with light hitting them from both the front and behind. |
