| Nepal, 18th or 19th century. An openwork copper crown with the five Dhayani Buddhas in copper gilt repoussee and copper medallions showing various sacred Buddhist symbols. The top is crowned with a dorje; the pieces that hang down over the ears are attached with copper wire (visible in photo #6). 13" (33 cm.) top to bottom, 8 1/2" (21 cm.) diameter. | ||
