This is a nicely preserved socketed bronze spearpoint from the ancient middle east (circa 1200 BC). It s possibly Greek or Iranian. It has a triangular blade with a strong central rib. It is intact with no repairs and only some minor chips to the blade edges. The metal is straight, not bent like so many examples of these pieces.

This is a socketed iron spear from the ancient middle east. This was part of a lot including Bactrian and Luristan artifacts. I do not have an exact cultural attribution for this piece but it is similar to pieces from northern iran in the early part of the first millenium BC. It is 39 cm long and weighs 316 grams. It is intact with no evidence of repair.

This piece is an amazing bronze pendant and original chain dating to at least 1000 BC if not earlier. It was purchased with a group of Bactrian weapons so I believe it is likely Bactrian in origin. The pendant measures roughly 6 cm across. The chain looks to be at least 50 cm long but due to its age it is a bit fragile. Each link in the chain was hammered out of a strip of bronze. This is an incredible piece of ancient art for study or display. I doubt you will find anything like it available an ...click for details

This is a bronze, lugged axe or chisel. It dates to circa 1500 BC or earlier and is in spectacular condition. It appears to have been cast flat and ground only on one side as was common with these early pieces. It weighs 184 grams and measures just over 15 cm in length. See similar axe, Aegean origin: Deshayes J. Les outils de bronze, de L'indus au Danube (IVe au IIe Millenaire). Paris, 1960, pl. XIV, # 1131.

$149

This is a very nice bronze dagger or spear blade from the ancient near East - probably from Northern Iran circa 1200 BC or earlier. It has a thin, flat blade with a reinforced midrib. It has a perforation in the tang which is covered by the patina. It also has some slight bending in the blade which is why I have listed it for such a low price. It does not appear to be damaged or repaired in any other way. It measures roughly 23 cm in length and weighs 84 grams.
