This piece is an ancient bronze bell from southeast Asia. It is likely from the Khmer culture around the 12th century but stylistically it could be considerably older. This attractive little jar is a shipwreck recovery from southeast Asia. It is most likely from the Khmer culture (circa 12th-13th century). It has a graceful and elegant, lotus petal decoration. There are small remnants of sea creatures on the outside and inside of the jar that add to its appeal. It is roughly 11.5 cm tall and roughly 12.5 cm wide. It shows no signs of repair or restoration.
