This is a very interesting and unique lobed bronze mirror from ancient Korea. It dates to the Silla Dynasty (57 BC – 935 AD) which was one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, and one of the longest sustained dynasties in Asian history. This particular piece has decorations of sea animals in relief, making it exceedingly rare. It measures 9.2 cm across and weighs 118 grams. It shows no sign of repair or restoration.
