$795

This is a fine example of a plain bronze sword likely from Northwestern Iran, possible the Luristan culture. It dates to roughly 1000 BC. It measures an impressive 48 cm in length and weighs 356 grams. The only apparent damage is in what appears to be a broken tang. The break appears ancient as well. The rest of the sword is intact and stable. This is a good piece to add to your ancient weapon collection.

This is a very unique bronze mace head from ancient Bactria (now the area around afghanistan). It is from the collection of the late John Piscopo and his original tag will stay with the item. This interesting weapon has points or wings on the rear which I have only seen in a few other pieces in private hands. The piece is largely intact. Two of the points have been broken off, apparently in antiquity. This piece weighs 179 grams and measures roughly 9.5 cm along its long axis. This is a great o ...click for details

$695

This is a consignment piece and as a result is a little out of my area of expertise. I am told that it is a boar spear from the middle ages, circa 15th century. It was found in Germany. It is very large, approximately 45 cm in length and is decorated on both sides of the blade. The socket has two tangs that are in line with the blade edges. The entire piece is solid and stable with no signs of repair. The decorative inlays appears to be brass and there are also incised decoration visible on the b ...click for details

THis is a fantastic little bronze ax from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. It is largely intact with a nice malachite patina. There are some sections of the bronze with almost no patina. The socket is still full of soil. This little guy weighs 34 grams and measures about 6.1 cm across the cutting edge. A piece this small is probably a votive piece made for burial only. It is solid and stable and a great deal at this price.

This is a remarkably well preserved black pottery vessel from the early Khmer culture. It dates to at least 600AD and is possibly much older. It is roughly 19 cm tall. It shows no signs of repair or restoration. There are traces of root fibers on parts of the surface and what looks like calcification on the surface of the base. This is a great opportunity to own a rare piece of Ancient Asia at a terrific price.
