| This is another fine ancient bronze axe from Northern Iran. I have listed a number of these from a private collection this week. This piece is is superb condition with very thin, flared blades. Between the top edges of the vertical blade is a small depression. The socket has minor losses on one side but otherwise this is a marvelous example of an interesting type. The rest of the piece is complete, solid and stable. It would be a fine addition to any ancient weapon collection. It weighs 332 grams and measures nearly 15 cm in length. Don't miss this beautiful specimen. | ||
