| An opportunity to acquire an antique Mauchline Tartan card case in excellent condition. I bought item # 30612 together with this one and I wander if they were a matching set of "his and hers", clearly the other being the ladies with the silver chain enabling it to be carried like a purse or handbag. The tartan is "Stuart" and retains it's little gold on black label. The case has a wonderful shape with curved edges all around. The hinge is in full working order and the interior looks unused. There is no loss to the tartan, and the condition is wonderful. In excellent condition measuring 4 1/4" x 2 3/4". Originating from Scotland around 1880, Victorian in period.
