| Dating to around 1920, it is most unusual to find a pair of these open barley twist candle sticks in Walnut, they are usually seen in Oak. These open twists mustn't be mistaken by the more simple tuned type; these are created by two twists surrounding each other carved with some accuracy. The warm reddish brown colour of the wood is enhanced with the polished brass drip trays to collect any stray molten wax. The undersides are covered with soft fabric to prevent damage to your furniture. Excellent polished condition measuring 8 1/2" tall with a base diameter measuring 5 1/4".
