Wonderful hinged case. Calling card case, miniature cigarette case, notepad case (no spot for pencil though) ? its use I am not sure of. However this wonderful enamelled silver case has a beautiful nude torso woman. Interior is gold washed with 2 silk ribbons to hold something inside. Inside are the hallmarks, eagle (austria) 900 , crescent with crown and BC. Some scratches to enamelled woman, case is approx 2 1/4" tall & 1 1/2" wide closed.
Carnival glass bananna boat or whimsey in rare kittens pattern. By Fenton pinced edge, approx 4 3/4" at widest. Marigold color free of chips crack and repairs.
Nice round sewing box with contents. Tartanware stuart pattern having ivory? or celluloid eyelits in place. Good condition some loss to tartanware along top edge. Round covered box is approx 3 1/2"
Arts and crafts era metalwork! Heintz Art Metal HAM sterling on bronze lg compote #1855. This was probably shined at one point in its life but the patina is coming back nicely. A few small dings and remnants of green oxidation along underside of top edge. Approx 5" h, 9 1/2" wide at top.
An incredible figural teapot, hallmarked on underside, cannot say for sure what the marks are but know it to be European. One hallmark appears to be a D with crown above, other mark might have an A at top. Finely formed tall legs with waterleaf shoulders attaching to body. About 1/2 way up body is a repeating waterleaf design which is also present at top of pot and on lid. The handle is a typical formed c1790 style made of ebony. Finial is very fancy but the spout just takes the prize! Won ...click for details
Colonial form lg sterling silver ladle. Monogrammed AK in fancy script this is also marked on the reverse sterling and E Jaccard jewelry co. This is a St Louis name/company. Ladle is approx 12" long with nice heft.
Beautiful tooled leather purse for that arts and crafts lady in your life! Missing clutch/handle, besides that nice honest condition, a few scuffs but very clean. Interior is suede and in nice condition. Purse is approx 6x7".
