Mission Oak arts and crafts era bookrack c1910. Nice trifoil cut out ends which are stationary, all quarter sawn oak. Approx 15 1/2" long, 5 1/2" deep and 7" high. Nice accessory item to sit atop your gustav stickley writing table (unless you already own gus' revolving bookrack)
Round oak dining table possibly by Hastings. Heavily quarter sawn solid top with matched solid quartered leaves (2). Base is fluted post with large claw feet. Dining table is 48" round closed, each leaf is 9", approx 67" opened. American made c1900.
Pair mahogany side chairs, pierce & carved back slat. Solid mahogany with mahogany crotch veneers, sabre leg form. Chairs have really nice petit point seats which are probably c1950's . The chairs are hand carved and possibly made by Karpen furniture.
Victorian c1865 parlor side chair. Crest is solid carved walnut, skirt of chair is veneer, back has some veneer damage near heart shapes. Originally from a parlor set, I am not sure of make but is the quality of Meeks etc. Frame is in good condition, needs proper cleaning, old upholstery.
Original finish oak stacking barrister bookcase by Gunn mfg . Made c1900 this will go nicely with an arts & crafts home as the bookcase has clean dark finish and tapered legs. This can be restored to golden oak if desired. Five section bookcase, 2 sections are approx 11", 3 sections 13" (legal?).
Photos I have done are to show the closeup quality of the chairs. The set consists of 2 arm and 2 side chairs. Rich walnut with fine quality carvings and eastlake decorations. Chairs are American c1880, seats have been upholstered in crushed maroon velvet with a pattern. Additional photos available upon request.
One of the nicest oak chests we've owned! Quarter sawn veneer and solid oak, double deck chest with serpentine shape. Chest is a 3/2 set up with original hardware. Applied carving on second drawer and mirror frame. The mirror is a shaped bevelled mirror with a nice oak roll in center flanked by two lion heads. The chest has lion feet which goes well with heads. All restored! 48" wide, deck is 35 1/2" high and full height 73 1/2" also 21" deep
Very fancy Eastlake Victorian era (1880's) ash writing desk. Lift top with restored billiard cloth / black felt. Unusual doored cabinet underneath writing surface for files. Elegant chip carvings on backsplash and side styles. Fully restored & finished cabinet all the way around so can be used in the center of a room. Approx 21x29x36". Still awaiting pull and cylinder lock
RARE form blanket chest ogee dovetailed bracket base CT c1770, old red paint dry scraped, 3 fake over 2 drawers . The pulls are wooden not original and the hinges are not original but proper. Case is 37", 16 1/2" deep and 38" high.
Dated 1821 Classical chest, mahogany with mahogany banding, cedar secondary wood. Chest is from Rhode Island or possibly southeastern Massachusetts. Retains original high quality brass hardware. Rich colored mahogany, full posts with unusual fluted pumpkin feet. Drawer configuration is 3 over 2 over 3.
