Mid to late 19th century Victorian collar box in black leatherette or gutta percha. The lid has a center medallion of a lady adorned with a bouquet of morning glories encircled in a garland of shells around it. The outside edge of the lid has shells and floral décor. The base is typical Victorian fan decor with stippling above it. It has the original silk lining inside and on the bottom of the box. Wonderful pair of late 17th-18th Century leather children's shoes. Wooden soles with hand tooled leather, metal clasps and original metal tacking. 5" long, 2-1/2" high at middle of shoe. Considering age they are beautiful condition. One shoe has a worn hole under the front end.
