Oaxaca Mexico Folkart Woodcarving
Raccoon
This ever-inquisitive raccoon has been created by Armando Jimenez, grandson of Manuel Jimenez, and a very creative artisan in his own right. The artist has a flowing, sleek, look to his work. The raccoon is gray, accented with innumerable small black lines, with a black mask. The eyes are pink and black, accented with yellow; the nose is bright blue; green (with a bit of orange on the edges) highlights the inside of the ears. The toes are accented with pink. Dimensions: 12" Long; 5" Wide; 10" High.
