| Sensuous and stunning female nude square pendant with a clear Art Deco inspiration from a figural series designed by Margot de Taxco in the 1950s. The raised relief figure, reminiscent of those in her earlier Zodiac series, is knocked out and silhouetted inside the rectangular pendant. This piece appears on p. 56 of Penny C. Morrill’s “Margot van Voorhies: The Art of Mexican Enamel Work.” ••• The pendant is marked Margot de Taxco 5446, Eagle 16, Sterling, made in Mexico. ••• It measures 1¼” square.
