This beautiful walnut writing slope is English and is dated Circa 1870. When opened it exposes a lovely writing surface, one ink bottle and space for stamps, etc. The writing surface also lifts to expose a bottom section where stationery items can be stored. This is a beautifully made stationery box made with a variety of woods; walnut, mahogany, with satinwood and tulipwood banding. You can use this on a desk for your stationery items or on a dresser for jewelry. It is in excellent condition and is circa 1900. The box measures approximately 11" x 8".
