Victorian era figurine circa 1850s is a charming sort of fellow. Unfortunately, his mate perished in a grisly Antique Show incident some years back and he's never quite recovered. Dresden bowl with swan handles in finest porcelain is footed and hand painted. Manufactured by Carl Thieme Saxonian Porcelain factory, Germany, the bowl is almost entirely gilded. One side depicts a large residence with turret within a laurel leaf cartouche and the other an initial "T" again, within a laurel leaf. Teapot Schafer and Vater, Germany circa 1900, pink bisque with bas relief of winged Grecian woman playing lute and cupid bearing a gift of flowers. Reverse side features alternate scene with woman reclining on cornucopia and cupid kissing her hand. Rim of teapot with butterflies and laurel leaf border. Lid with acanthus leaves and beading. Undulating dragon handle ewer from "Wooster" is beautifully hand decorated and signed by artist (ND). Body has overall fishscale molding. Cantua flowers and ferns among large gilt leaves...the design is breathtaking. 11" Tall and miniscule overpainting on gilding only. One ridge on his tail appears to have flake under it's paint. Otherwise excellent. Many more pictures available on request. Compare to $1000-2000 elsewhere. Was $600 grab a buy!

Antique French Majolica figural jug or bottle from Keller Guerin of Ste. Clement France. Originally produced as an Absinthe bottle which came in a variety of shapes to hold the scandalous elixir. This cockatoo or parrot is brightly glazed. Besides usual crazing there is no damage to this piece. One manufacturers flaw is small unglazed area on left cheek size of rice grain. Late Victorian Eureka of Trenton majolica cake stand. This lovely pedestal features bird and blossoming cherry branches. Basketweave border and nice pebbly ground of creamy white.
