Whimsical beadwork and needlework firescreen depicts a cockatoo. English origin circa 1850s-70s, with original side tassels and it's beautifully made gilt metal (brass?) extension arm. The weighty arm is hinged and has a decorative clamp that can be attached to your mantle. Alternatively, this unique textile would be a perfect candidate for framing.
