Colorful! Vibrant aqua blue pitcher and 6 matching glasses in classic ART MODERNE Eames era styling. This set was purchased just after the WWII when the "foreign" label was used to indicate items that were imported from abroad. This stately pitcher is 12" tall and would be perfect for Martinis or Ice Tea, Mint Juleps etc. Its applied handle is clear and features a glass ball fuse at the top. Polished pontil is shown. Rustic old Brazilian charm brooch known as a penca de balangandans. These are designed so that they can be opened and other charms can be added as needed. There is alot of lore connected to this type of Latin American jewelry. They are said to bring good luck and abundance. Each charm represents something, the fruit, fertility and so on. Its a wonderful old piece fashioned apparently from white brass and tin.

Fine Handthrown Pottery Covered jar in the Haida formline style by Native Canadian artist Judy Cranmer. 4 1/2" diameter, 3" tall. Cranmer a well respected artist is married to Kwakiutl master carver Doug Cranmer and has had a long association with the Hunt family. She graduated from the Vancouver School of Arts in 1965 and is represented by many fine galleries. Condition of this piece is excellent, its signed and dated 1987. Her pieces are very collectible and so distinctive.
