"Birds Eye" is the name of this one of a kind piece made by Henry Rosetta of Santo Domingo Pueblo. The silver element is tufa cast. These castings are hand-carved out of a type of sandstone, then molten silver is poured into the mold. Once the silver has cooled, the tufa is broken away never to be used again. Friendly "Old Pawn" look to this beautifully handcrafted silver by JM Begay, a Navajo smith from Lukachukai, Arizona. Sawtooth bezel set natural turqoise is turning that deep shade of blue/green that goes great with tanned skin. Face of ring is 1 1/8" tall and size 6 presently, circa 1970s.
Fine old Navajo pin from the 40s. This is a heavy gauge and skillfully made piece with gem quality turquoise apparently of the Pilot Mountain mine. Measures appx. 2 1/4" and unused condition, great patina left untouched and its unsigned of course but tested sterling gtd.

Classic concho shape handmade Navajo earrings set with highly polished royston mine turquoise thats a deep blue/green. These are bezel set with twisted wire and raindrop details all hand worked. Fred Harvey Route 66 era earrings are usually screwback style like these. Beautiful condition. Royston mine produced stone of great depth of color that stands the test of time. 7/8" x 5/8".
