Materials, some of which are carved, include tortoise shell, mother of pearl, spondylus and turquoise, jet and abalone. The artist, who began smithing in 1942, worked with her husband, Oliver. The ring measures about 2" tall and 1 7/8" wide. It is signed AC ZUNI. Size 7, it is in excellent condition. ref: Bell and Barton Wright.

The stones are well matched, sky blue and original to the cross. The 2nd stone down from the top has an interesting silver pyrite matrix which makes the stone appear as a heart. I do not know if this symbolism was intentional but it's hard to imagine otherwise. The cross is offered on it's original, silver chain, each link of which was hand-soldered.
