Peter Hurd (1904-1984) Hawaiian Historical prints set of 10, 100 Years of Progress done for AMFAC in 1949. Prints are like new, were never framed, and are presented in original sleeve with accompanying 3 page booklet. Captivating and muralistic scenes done in rich and lively untoned colors, these prints measure about 18" x 14". They have wide margins but are shown cropped here. No damage. French Art Nouveau stone lithograph by Louis Vallet (1856-1940)for Fallou Books, Posters and Stamp. Printed in Les Programmes Illustres, Ernest Maindron, Paris 1897. It was a Limited Edition publication of only 1025 total. 9" x 13" period frame with glass. Print is in excellent condition, frame is included but of little value. Maindron, perhaps the most active printer of the era's posters did stone lithos after Talouse-Lautrec, Cheret and Choubrac among others.

Edouard Halouze well listed French artist, illustrator and decorator who was a frequent contributor to the Gazette du Bon Ton. He participated in an exhibition dedicated to "Fashion as seen by Painters" at the Musée des arts décoratifs in 1920. He developed a unique style in 1925 due to his use of cubist possibilities in décors, costumes and program covers for the French Music Hall.
