Hawaiian Hula Doll 1940s Made in Japan Catalogue: Popular Collectibles: Dolls and Figures: Specialty: Pre 1950   item# 953407  click for details Requiem Antique 808.385.1708 ~~~Sold, Thanks~~~  Collectible early Japanese made souvenir Hula doll for dashboard with heavy strawlike skirt. She plays the ukulele and has a pineapple at her right leg. These came with little cloth hibiscus flowers at the temple and this one remains intact. Red "Made in Japan" sticker underside. Rub to hair paint, skirt was once green, now faded. Small flaw to compo at back from manufacture. A lovely example.
