Old handcarved bone spoon for medicine or tea caddy from Alaska. I'm told this is carribou bone and it's got a wonderful patina. I'm leaning towards the medicine spoon due to the medicinal bottle depicted in the scrim detailing to the handle. Its signed with initials at the reverse. measures about 4" long. No damage and smooth as silk.
Fine Chinese cloisonne vase in yellow ground enameling with diamond shaped wiring. Early Oriental design features Chinese Chrysanthemums, peonies, and other varieties of flowers in blue, red, white and pink; additionally the shoulder is decorated in pointed, red ribbed leaves and scrolling wave design. There are 9 different wired layers to this design. This vase measures 9 1/4" tall and about 5" wide at shoulder. No chips or cracks to enamel. Fine condition.
Salmon 9 Foot wall hanging made in the button blanket style of the Northwest Coast tribes. Salmon symbolizes tenacity and resilience, renewal, bounty, circle (and cycle) of life and abundance.
