Early to mid-Victorian mourning festoon necklace of carved Whitby jet. This ornately designed bib fits close to the collar bone with the top strand running about 15". The three rows of carved beads are suspended by hand-carved and polished terminals and a row of large round beads is at the back to ensure comfortable wearing. Antique Figa hand-carved of ivory and mounted in 18k gold of Italian origin. The amulet used for good luck and warding off evil, has gold thumb and fingernails and a moving bangle bracelet at the wrist and is fitted with a wide 7mm gold seamless ring for hanging on a good sized chain. Schreger lines are clearly visible in the ivory and there is one small age line. Pendant measures 1 1/2" long.

Catalin bangles in swirled hues or orange, brown, gold or horn and green. These are called spacers, usually paired with big fatter examples to fill in the spaces between and separate them. They measure about 1 1/4" wide all together and the diameter opening is about 2.5" across so will fit most. Look great stacked on the arm 6"-10" tall.
