Sterling Silver repousse tricorn hat pill box originally intended for snuff. Rococo style, highly ornate relief depicts one cherub loading his quiver with an arrow, and another cherub dancing among flowers and clouds on lid. This weighty piece has gilded interior. Hallmarks shown referrenced as Dutch late 1800s. Measures about 2 1/2" each side. What a discreet way to manage your medications or sugar pills.

Ana Brilanti (1907-1999), among the finest designers of the early Taxco silver movement. This, her "Angel" pattern set consists of a choker style necklace and matching earrings. These are made in the shadowbox style with oxidized back plates. The choker style necklace measures approx 14 1/2 as worn and 5/8" wide, the earrings same scale. Classic accessory, a 2 1/4" wide tortoise shell cuff. It's embelished with an applied silver, hand etched palm tree which is rivitted at the center of the face. This example has exceptional figuring to the shell. Great condition, unmarked (there's no place to sign such pieces) but guaranteed old and wonderful. Best estate condition. A rare 1873 "Indian Head" gold one dollar coin, punched here and made into a Reconstruction era gold stickpin for lapel. This piece is in fine condition. This coin is known as a "type 3" dollar and was the last of this type to be minted. Its gold content is 900/1000 pure.
