Beautiful Colonial style brooch by Taxco master Fred Davis. This is an early piece from 1940s. The turquoise have turned a mellow greenish hue thats a result of time and oxidization when they are left untreated. Warm old Patina. Conjoined FD hallmark and Silver Mexico. Old solder splatter near pin base. Very solid piece, no problems.
Measures 2 3/8" x 1 5/8".
