Most desirable shape for ivory is the tube but they're just as hard to find as they are to make. This old piece is covered in grainey Schreger lines, the interior is a warm golden brown. Weighs 109 gr. Smaller wrist size, the diameter opening is 2 1/4" or add a leather whip and turn it into a pendant. Approx. 3 5/8" across and interior measures approx. 7" around.

In Memoriam was a popular sentiment used to embellish Victorian Mourning jewelry. This done in yellow gold with black and white enameling. The letters are raised across a band through the center of the face. The reverse is completely engraved. The interior holds two frames with covers and both carry plaited hair momentos. Circa 1860s, one tidyer than the other. Locket measuring about 1 1/4" with one fixed bale ring at top.
