Lively paprika red, olive green and white enameling embellish the lid and handle of this turn of the century Russian silver tea strainer. This infuser is 916/1000 silver (nearly sterling standard) and gold washed overall. The gilding is all intact. There are no chips to the enameling. The lid is hinged and snaps shut securely. This is in excellent condition measuring 4 3/4" long, weighs 25gr.
