Classic gold setting in a swirling Nouveau style is a perfect match with this natural coral navette. Its been largely left in its raw state across the top surface; the naturalistic form is typical of this era. Currently a generous size 7. Mounting is 14kt gold and ring measures 1" long. Hallmark inside appears as a diamond shape which is used on Italian gold jewelry.

Tortoise shell was a popular material for jewelry during the Victorian era of 1837-1900. Its got thermplastic properties ie: melts when heated, can be molded into shapes and therefore can be inlaid quite nicely. These "pique" pins are getting harder to find and ours features a leaf and berry design thats pure karat gold. The border is complete with a Greek Key pattern. Sale Priced a great buy...Lovely wrapping design is done here in twisted gold wires and holds 11 prong set deep green jade balls. The shape and color of the gems are perfectly matched. Genuine Whitby Jet carved cameo drop pendant necklace is hung on black velvet, to be worn as a necklace or choker length. Large "Figa" or fist good luck charms were a favorite theme for pocket watch fobs during Victorian times, (1837-1901). This early fob is made of Scottish banded agate, a fairly hardstone that can handle the wear associated with such an item of utility.
