| Whitby jet beads (lignite) are graduated and hand-carved and set with French jet (glass)bead spacers and original tongue type clasp also of French jet. It's been said that as early as 1825 the first jet carving business was established in Yorkshire area of England and of course today production still flourishes. Largest bead measures 3/4" diameter down to about 3/8". The strand measures 28" end to end with minor loss. | ||
