| Rare offering for a mid-Victorian festoon necklace of carved Whitby jet. This ornately designed bib fits close to the collar bone with the top strand running about 15". The three rows of carved beads are suspended by hand-carved and polished terminals and a row of round beads is at the back for comfortable wearing. The closure is typical Victorian plunger style push pin that locks inside a single carved bead. Two safety chains are intact. Longest length of beads runs about 18" end to end.
