| Large "Figa" or fist good luck charms were a favorite theme for pocket watch fobs during Victorian times, (1837-1901). This early fob is made of Scottish banded agate, a fairly hardstone that can handle the wear associated with such an item of utility. This is larger than most measuring shy 2 1/4" long and 3/8" wide at cap. The cap and rings are 18kt stamped gold. These are frequently converted into pendants for necklaces these days and the detailing on this one is worthy of the attention. It weighs 12gr. | |||||||||
