| Hornback crocodile Doctor's bag or travel case is a late 19th c beauty. Full horned skins to both sides. Solid brass fittings, locking clasp operates well (has no key) has double locks. This type is known as a square mouth case, as shown in photos. The underside has 4 brass feet to protect skins. Displays beautifully for it's age. Original wrapped handle shows normal wear. Small loss to skin at frame, under 1" flaw. Rarely found large size tote would make an incredible display piece. No breaks or rips in bag although gussets (or side panels) are getting tired as usual. Over 14" wide, 11" tall not including handle. Numbered underside but no makers information was located. | |||||||||||||||
