| Skonvirke Brooch made in Denmark circa 1920 is large and dramatic. The work is comparable to Evald Nielsen. The brooch has fluid floral repousse blossoms set with chrysoprase stones. The reverse is signed SJ 830s for S Jacobsen, the other miniscule marks, probably assayer's are very faint. There is wear, pinstem is crooked, faint line to top piece at middle and drop has some dents on back but wears nicely. Measures 3 5/8" x 3". Was $595. | |||||||||
