Handmade copper pitcher designed and signed (1930-40's)by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Pitcher stands 4 3/4" high. Beautiful vintage patina and condition with minor surface wear. Pictured on the informative website spratlingsilver.com. Spratling is best known for his sterling silver designs but his workshop also produced items in wood, tin and copper. He also designed furniture constructed of wood and leather. These early designs are rare as few pieces have survived the years in good condition.
