Hand crafted sterling silver cascabell pin designed and signed (c.1940's)by Taxco, Mexico artist Valentin Vidaurreta (1902-1955). Measures 3 1/2" X 2". Comprised of 19 cascabells on five sterling stems and tied with a sterling silver bow. Valentin was the primary designer for Hector Aguilar and the Taller Borda and was considered one of the best Taxco silver designers of the period. His art leaned toward fauna and foilage and this can be seen in his sterling silver designs. This pin is in excellent condition except for two fallen (and missing) cascabell flower buds.
