| Beautifully handmade sterling silver "Petate" or basket weave brooch designed (c.1940's) and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). This example has the prized soft and rich patina that comes only with age. Pin measures 3 inches X 2 1/2 inches. Excellent condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Pin back and lock work perfectly.
