| Stunning vintage sterling silver and amethyst bracelet designed and signed (c.1950's) by modernist Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda(1919-2010). Bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches long and approx. 1/2 inch wide. Comprised of 6 carved 1 inch long bezel set amethyst rods joined by sterling hinged deco links. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. No dents or dings to silver. Slide in clasp and safety chain work perfectly. Fully hallmarked as shown. Antonio's designs are currently on tour in the museum exhibit SILVER SEDUCTION THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA. Next stop: THE FRANZ MAYER MUSEUM in Mexico City this fall. | |||||||
