| Duckbill sterling silver serving set designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Each piece of this hand made set measures 11 1/2 inches long. The set weighs 275 grams, 9.07 oz. Both the fork and spoon are hallmarked WS, WILLIAM SPRATLING, 925, TAXCO MEXICO, eagle 30. Beautiful vintage condition with no dents or dings. This design was featured in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE and is pictured on page 248 of the catalog of the same name by Penny Morrill.
