| 6 1/2 inch long hand carved rosewood and sterling silver cheese or pate knife designed (c.1940)by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Pictured on www.spratlingsilver.com and in the 1946 Warner Bros. film "THE MAN FROM NEW ORLEANS", about Spratling and his Taxco silver workshop. Nice weight and in beautiful vintage condition.
