Antique Indian Stone Temple decoration. When viewing the photo of this exquisite artifact, you will notice the lighter colored side of the stone carving was inserted into the stone building, while the left side is the beautiful carved bird ornament, that was exposed for viewing. Very rare Rahal elephant bell. A Thai ancient belief, that a lunar eclipse is caused by an evil god of darkness named "Rahul" who eats the moon. Antique Asian primitive wooden carved wheel. Before the roads were paved with asphalt these solid hard wood wheels were used in, Thailand, Burma, China, Viet Nam and most of Southeast Asia. The wheels were handmade from a single piece of teak. Today this item of necessity has become a beautiful accent piece for our modern home decor. Mounted on a handsome black removable cradle mount, so as not to place any holes in the artifact. 18 inch diam, 22 1/2 inch tall, weight 20 lbs.
Highly ornate brass bowl from Myanmar. Long before the country was called Myanmar, it was Burma. This beautiful brass bowl was hand sculpted in old Burma, sometime in the in the 19th century. It is a little dented, but in this case it adds a rustic Asian quality to a nice collectors piece. Most likely it was used by the local monks, for gathering their meal in the mornings.
