Antique Asian primitive wooden carved wheel. Before the roads were paved with asphalt these solid hard wood wheels were used in, Thailand, Burma, China, Viet Nam and most of Southeast Asia. The wheels were handmade from a single piece of teak. Today this item of necessity has become a beautiful accent piece for our modern home decor. Very rare Rahal elephant bell. A Thai ancient belief, that a lunar eclipse is caused by an evil god of darkness named "Rahul" who eats the moon.
