Burmese primitive antique elephant bell. These ornate bronze bells were used by the villagers of old Burma to locate elephants (not that it seems likely to loose one)if they grazed their way into the jungle and as as adornments. Professionally mounted with a steel rod stem and a modern clear Lucite base, that matches any table top. Beautiful patina. Excellent condition. Circa 1880 to 1920. Size: 3 inch diam bell, 8.5 inch tall, 5 x 3.5 inch base.

Highly ornate brass bowl from Myanmar. Long before the country was called Myanmar, it was Burma. This beautiful brass bowl was hand sculpted in old Burma, sometime in the in the 19th century. It is a little dented, but in this case it adds a rustic Asian quality to a nice collectors piece. Most likely it was used by the local monks, for gathering their meal in the mornings. Size: 7" diam, 4" tall.

Bronze Burmese Elephant bell mounted on modern flat black stand. Beautifully handmade and etched in Burma (Myanmar) 80 to 150 years ago. The bell has been incised with a distinctive leaf and flower design and bears the maker's name in Burmese characters. Each bell is different, due to the old style hand crafting, so please see enlargements for each bell when choosing one for yourself. Size: 3 1/4 inch diam bell, 10 1/2 inch tall (including stand), 5.5 x 4 inch base.
