Antique Asian primitive wooden carved wheel. Before the roads were paved with asphalt these solid hard wood wheels were used in, Thailand, Burma, China, Viet Nam and most of Southeast Asia. The wheels were handmade from a single piece of teak. Today this item of necessity has become a beautiful accent piece for our modern home decor. Mounted on a handsome black removable cradle mount, so as not to place any holes in the artifact. 18 inch diam, 22 1/2 inch tall, weight 20 lbs.

Antique rustic wooden Thai village pig trough. Handmade many years ago in a small village in Northern Thailand. Crafted from a single log using primitive tools. A beautiful home decor table center piece. Fill it with flowers or fruit. Great conversation piece when you feed your guests and tell them who ate out of the trough first. Bird looking to sky cart decoration from Burma. The bird is depicted standing on a leafed branch looking to the heavens. The long part behind him at one time was used to connect the piece to the ancient cart. This style hand crafted teak wood decoration adorned the ox or buffalo carts that were the main mode of transportation many years ago in Burma. Great condition and beautiful patina. Circa 1920 - 1800. Size: 22 1/2 inch tall, 34 1/2 inch long, 6 1/2 inch wide.
