Lopburi Buddha sheltered by Seven headed Naga. This ancient Buddha is from Lopburi from the time when it was part of the Khmer kingdom that was ruled from Angkor in what is now Cambodia. Circa: 1100 A.D. - 1300 A.D. Size: 17" high, 8.5" wide.

22 inches high. 150-300 Y/O. A truly beautiful wood standing Buddha, from a temple in the Prae area of Northern Thailand. The condition is overall commensurate with the age of the piece. The tip of the flame has been damaged and one piece of reflective glass is missing. The lacquer has held up over the years and traces of gilt exist nicely.
