Beautiful Ornate Carved Burmese Cabinet. Massive carvings abound on this truly unique convex glass faced cabinet. It looks to be all original, except some of the hardware. The huge feet of the chest are deeply carved lions (Enlargement 5). The crown piece and base are made up of carved stunning leaf and flower designs (enlargement 3 and 5). The British influence is strong from the colonial times. Circa 1830 to 1900. Dimensions: 39" W, 27.5" D, 85" H.

Antique Burmese colonial wood bench. This beautiful piece of furniture was handmade in Burma during the time when Burma was an English colony. Beautiful wood grain is augmented by our very basic restoration. We lightly sanded the old gray aged surface and applied two coats of natural clear tree lacquer to the surface. Excellent condition and still a strong and practical piece. Circa 1880 - 1930. 81.5" long x 24" wide x 33" tall.

Ornately hand carved antique Chinese four door cabinet. Each door has rich carvings depicting bamboo stalks, flowers and other plant life. Great example of the old woodworking techniques that the Chinese furniture is famous for. No nails were used to hold the wood together, in fact even the hinges are crafted wooden pieces.
