Antique cow or water buffalo bell. The Burmese villagers handmade these ornate bells of bronze, to help control their small herds of buffalo or cattle. The buffalo were mainly used to pull the plows of the rice farmers. We mounted the bell on a Lucite base, to insure that this artifact will look nice with any modern home decor. Great accent piece. Size: 3 x 2 inch bell. 5 inch tall(including stand) 4.5 x 2.5 inch base.

Antique rustic cow or water buffalo bell from Burma (Myanmar). The Burmese villagers hand crafted these ornate bells of bronze, to help control their small herds of buffalo or cattle. The buffalo were mainly used to pull the plows of the rice farmers. Beautifully mounted on a modern black base. Great home decor accent piece. Sukhothai iron under glazed bowl with fish design. This was produced in the ancient city of Sukhothai or Sri Satchanalai in the northern part of what is now Thailand. This outstanding example of Sukhothai or Sangkhalok ware is in excellent condition, considering the age. There is only one very small chip on the rim. Please see enlargements. Circa: 13th to 15th century. Size: 10 1/2" diameter, 3" tall.
