Rural handmade teak wood sitting Buddha image. The wooden Buddha was carved by a villager to make merit, then given to the village Buddhist temple to make merit. Originally it was covered in black lacquer, but later the monks covered it in gold paint and other lacquer colors. Slight insect damage to the base front. Size: 10.5 inch tall, 2 inch wide, 2 inch deep.
