Wooden Garuda the bird animal god. This beautiful Garuda carving was acquired from a Buddhist temple (Wat) in Northern Thailand, during a recent renovation. The dealer had added some gold leaf to cover the old red paint, prior to us purchasing the sculpture. We built a steel cradle mount to display the artifact, without the need for any drill holes. Antique Burmese style Asian solid wood cart wheel. This wheel was found in North Thailand and is nicely aged. We made a cradle stand for it so no holes were drilled into the antiquity and they can be separated at any time. Handmade made by a villager many years ago, you can still see some of the primitive tool marks. Great home decor accent piece for the modern house. Circa 1850 to 1910. Size: 21 inch diam, 27 3/4 inch tall.

Antique solid wood Burmese wheel. Before the roads were black top these solid hard wood wheels were used in, Thailand, Burma, China, Viet Nam and most of South-East Asia. Then teak wood wheels were handmade, with primitive tools. Today this item of necessity has become a beautiful accent piece for our modern home decor. The vendor would have pushed the cart to carry his wares into the markets, like a mobile store. Nice rustic aging. We lightly coated the piece with natural bees wax and tree lacquer to help preserve and augment the look, then built the cradle stand, to display the antiquity, with out drilling any holes.
