Antique rural sitting Buddha from Laos. This Type of Buddha was carved and painted by hand by a villager in Laos for either giving to the temple to make merit or for home worship. Wood is in good condition with mild insect damage. Small traces of paint are still visible on this primitive Buddha image.

Antique rustic wooden gate piece from Thailand. Not a fence post. This was the type of gate used 80 to many hundreds of years ago. Hand crafted by villagers for keeping their water buffalo of cattle in. Two of these large poles would be made with corresponding holes for smaller poles to be slid through to close of that section.
