Ornate Carved Burmese Cabinet. Massive carvings abound on this truly unique convex glass faced cabinet. It looks to be all original, except some of the hardware. The huge feet of the chest are deeply carved lions (Enlargements 4 and 5). The crown piece, base and sides are made up of stunning carved designs. The British influence is strong from the Burmese colonial times. Circa 1830 to 1900. Dimensions: 39" W, 27" D, 83" H.
